Ho Chi Minh City

Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels was a really eye-opening experience. It’s incredible to see firsthand the underground network the Viet Cong built during the war. Crawling through the narrow tunnels gave me a real sense of how tough life must have been for those who lived and fought there. Some parts are pretty tight, so if you’re claustrophobic or big-sized, it might be a challenge, but I found it totally doable and definitely worth it.
The exhibits around the site, with all the old booby traps and weapons, added a lot to the story. I even checked out the shooting range nearby, which was loud but an interesting experience if you want to try military-style guns.
The guides were knowledgeable and helped me understand the history behind everything, which made the whole visit much more meaningful. Overall, it’s a unique way to connect with Vietnam’s past, and I left with a new appreciation for the resilience of the people who lived through those times. Highly recommend it if you’re in Ho Chi Minh City.
