La Vela Saigon Hotel: A Must-Visit for Swimming Enthusiasts

If you're a swimming enthusiast, this hotel is a must-visit. Every time I go to Ho Chi Minh City, I usually try out different hotels except for Mia Saigon, but this time, even though I was traveling alone, I spent two hours swimming because the pool was spacious and fantastic.

🩷 Room Type: Deluxe Twin Room

The Deluxe Room is the standard room, and other options include Luxury Deluxe, Luxury Deluxe Corner, Apartment, Corner Apartment, Executive Apartment, and Presidential Suite. Since I was traveling alone, I opted for the standard Deluxe Room, but if you're visiting as a pair, the Luxury Deluxe on a high floor is worth considering as the price difference isn't significant.

💙 Facilities

The gym is quite large and offers a variety of equipment. Although I only used the treadmill, there are enough machines for upper and lower body workouts.

The swimming pool is located on the rooftop and is the largest among Ho Chi Minh City hotels. It's highly recommended for swimming enthusiasts.

Next to the rooftop pool, there's a bar that operates as a pool bar during the day and transforms into a rooftop bar in the evening. I had wine there, and although they said I could pay during checkout, they came to my room to collect payment, which I found a bit odd.

💛 Breakfast

You can dine indoors or outdoors. I usually prefer eating outdoors, but it was too humid on the rooftop that day, so I ate indoors. There was a wide variety of food, including Korean dishes, and the selection was decent, but the taste was average. As a bread lover, I found the bread options lacking, and the live station was also underwhelming.

The swimming pool is exceptional, making it a must-visit for a refreshing swim. Additionally, the photos taken from the rooms turn out great, making this hotel a haven for photography enthusiasts.
