Dazhao Temple, also known as "Wuliang Temple", is one of the oldest and most representative Tibetan Buddhist temples in Hohhot, with a history of more than 400 years⏳. When I visited in the early morning, the sun shone on the golden top of the temple, the light and shadow intertwined, very serene and sacred✨

🧘♀️ The most famous one is the Silver Buddha Hall and the gilt Buddha statue, which is really super solemn, my heart is quiet when I see it. Many believers in the temple are walking around holding prayer wheels, the atmosphere is very pure 🙏

🪷 Historical Trivia:
• Built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (c. 1580), earlier than the Yonghe Palace in Beijing
• Canonized as "Great Call" by the emperor in the Qing Dynasty, meaning "Great Call"
• It was the station of the Qing Emperor when he patrolled the border!

💡Visit Tips:
• 🚫Please do not make noise or take pictures when viewing Buddha statues/entering the main hall
• 👟 Wear comfortable shoes, some roads are bluestone
• 🕯️ You can add fragrant oil in small amounts as you wish, and you can also experience the transfer of prayer wheels 🙏
