Hoi An | A stroll through the old town at sunset with twinkling lanterns

📍Hoi An Old Town
The best time to walk around Hoi An is from the magic hour at dusk until the night when the lights come up 🇻🇳
The number of tourists is incomparable to that during the day.
The main street along the river is so hard to walk.
However, once you get in, there are few people and it's comfortable.
You might enjoy walking without looking at a map.

Don't forget the night market.
Especially the food stalls are easy to eat while walking around, and with so many people, it's like a Japanese festival.
I always buy mangoes 🥭
They cut up whole mangoes for about 300 yen.
Skewered meat is also popular.
There are simple chairs and tables along the river, and there are shops where you can eat food stalls, which adds to the atmosphere.

It seems that many people go to Hoi An for a day trip, but to take a leisurely stroll around the city at night, I recommend staying at least one night.
