Hoi An Ancient Town | Ancient Charm by Day, Sea of Lights by Night
My first visit to Hoi An Ancient Town was like stepping into a painting. The daytime and nighttime scenes are completely different, yet equally captivating.
🌞 Hoi An by Day
During the day, the Old Town is bathed in warm yellow hues, with ancient walls, blue wooden windows, and cozy cafes. Every corner is worth stopping to take a photo. Walking along the cobblestone streets, weaving between ancient houses, and inhaling the aroma of street food, it feels like time has slowed down.
🌙 Hoi An by Night
As dusk falls, the town lights up, with colorful lanterns adorning the streets. The lights reflect on the riverbank, and the Old Town comes alive with the sounds of music, the aroma of delicious food, and the bustling crowds of people. Hoi An at this time feels like a grand carnival, warm and romantic.
🍴 Dinner by the River
For a more romantic evening, dine at a restaurant along the Thu Bon River. Enjoy local Hoi An cuisine like high-end noodles, white rose dumplings, or fresh barbecued seafood while admiring the twinkling lights and passing boats on the river—the atmosphere is truly extraordinary. Many restaurants even play soft music, immersing you in the exotic atmosphere.
🚤 Floating lanterns by boat
My most unforgettable experience was taking a Floating lantern boat on the Thu Bon River. The boatman slowly rowed the small wooden boat, and the water shimmered with the lights. Releasing the small Floating lantern into the river and watching it drift away was like quietly entrusting your wishes to the water. It was a truly romantic moment.
✨ Hoi An Ancient Town is a story of ancient charm by day; at night, it's a dream illuminated by lights. A visit here is a must-see for those who enjoy a riverside dinner and a Floating lantern boat ride. The tenderness and romance will remain in your heart forever.
