The most valuable villa in Hoi An!

I must say, I’m quite impressed with my own ability to pick hotels (flips hair). Often, booking websites or hotel official sites use overly wide-angle photos that don’t quite match reality. Luckily, since I dabble in photography with a DSLR, I have a decent sense of space, which helps me choose hotels that meet my expectations.

Azumi Villa Hotel is located on the eastern side of Hoi An Ancient Town, about a nine-minute walk to the town center. However, it takes over 20 minutes to walk to the Japanese Covered Bridge or the Hoi An Night Market, which is a slight disadvantage in terms of location. On the flip side, because it’s not close to the ancient town and is tucked away in a small alley off the main road, the hotel is very quiet both day and night. During our two-night stay, there were only two groups of guests, including us, making it feel like we had the place to ourselves.

I chose the Executive Room on the ground floor, which has a small entrance area where you need to take off your shoes before entering. The entire space is about 46 square meters, featuring a double bed and a double sofa bed in front of it, perfect for lounging while watching the 40-inch flat-screen TV.

One of the most attractive features of this room is the semi-outdoor bathtub at the back of the room, which gives off a true "villa" vibe when you soak in it! Right outside the room is the hotel’s crescent-shaped swimming pool, which is adjacent to lush green rice fields, making it a picturesque spot for photos.
