Xilin Gol-Khan Mountain, Inner Mongolia.

[RedHeart] [Khan Mountain] is also known as the "Mountain of the Mongolian and Yuan Emperors", and its full name is Aobao Xianghui Khan Mountain Grassland Tourism Area, located in Huolingol City, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The Khan Mountain landscape zone in the central viewing area consists of the mountain gate, the Canglang Road, the Mongolian and Yuan military formations and the Mongolian emperors.

🌟Highlights: There is a giant stone statue of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Yuan Dynasty, on the top of the mountain, and the surrounding statues of Yuan Dynasty soldiers are magnificent.

[One] Free scenic spot, open all year round.
[Two] Location: To the west of Huolingol City, Dongwujimqin Banner, Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, along Provincial Highway 101 to the right side of the road about 20 kilometers in the direction of Dongwu Banner.
[Three] Transportation: Suitable for self-driving or chartering a car, no buses arrive.
[Four]Other information:
🚉Parking: Free parking lot. Go early! Otherwise, if there is no space, you can only park in a paid parking lot and park far away.
📝Note tips: As you can see from the photo, the giant stone statue is located on the top of the mountain. Although the mountain is not high, the gentle slope is very long and the climb is quite tiring. (Pay attention to sun protection)
[Five] Food recommendation: mutton skewers! Although you can eat mutton kebabs anywhere, the best quality ones can only be found in Inner Mongolia! Moreover, the price is more affordable than other cities~
[Six] Other nearby scenic spots include:
Huitnur Tourist Area, Hongyan Lake Nature Reserve

✅Paid experience: horse riding, archery, Mongolian clothing rental (don’t forget to bargain)

[â—‹] When we went there, we crawled closer and discovered that the scenic spot was blocked by construction, so most of the photos we took were from selected scenes. Normally, tourists can directly approach the stone statues to view and take photos. Unfortunately, we can only regret seeing it from a distance. I hope you will have more and better photos when you go to Khan Mountain...
