This time I stayed in a super deluxe sea view room, Room 2313 in the new wing of the Peninsula Hotel. From the floor plan, I knew that there was a suite next to it, which looked very large. Today the weather was very sunny. When I opened the curtains, I could see the beautiful view of Victoria Harbour, which was very spectacular.
The Peninsula Hotel has first-class facilities and equipment, and is committed to improving the customer's stay experience. The guest rooms of the Peninsula Hotel were renovated in 2009. Now all rooms use this electronic panel to control all electronic equipment in the entire room. Including lights, TV control, catering services, room music control, etc. If you want mineral water like me, just press the electronic control panel lightly, and someone will deliver it to you in 15 minutes.
A screen is also provided at the bathtub. Through this control panel, you can adjust the channels you want to watch. Guests can watch TV and listen to music while bathing. The toiletries of the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong are their own. The shower and toilet are separated, which is more convenient and tidy.
There is an inbox on the left side near the door. Guests can put the clothes they need to change here. Press the service command and someone will come to collect them. It is very convenient and considerate.
The service of the Peninsula Hotel has always been world-class. Because it was my anniversary with my girlfriend, the hotel was very considerate and sent us amenity, and also attached a welcome letter handwritten by the management, which was full of sincerity.
The leisurely music and magnificent environment of the Peninsula Lobby Tea House make everyone who walks in here intoxicated. Afternoon tea is a symbol of Hong Kong and is known as one of the most elegant tea gathering places in Hong Kong. We didn't have afternoon tea here this time, but we also had the opportunity to enjoy a hearty breakfast here. There are two breakfast sets to choose from, Chinese and Western. We each chose one to try.
The Chinese set includes fried silver needle noodles, two dim sum and a fried crispy custard bun. It is worth mentioning that this bowl of ordinary porridge is very soft and fragrant, and it is very delicious. Western breakfast includes cereal, format bread with jam and cream, omelette potato wedges and pork sausage. We were reluctant to leave right after the meal. Sitting here, admiring the gorgeous architecture and listening to the string music was also a kind of enjoyment.
Chesa is located on the first floor of the hotel. It is the only Swiss restaurant left in Hong Kong. The restaurant decoration has maintained its original style for many years. In addition to regularly replacing the carpet and repainting the walls, the restaurant decoration has not changed for fifty years. Nostalgic restaurant fans must come.
The interior of Ruiqiao Pavilion is simply decorated with pine beams and plaster walls, and is equipped with furnishings flown back from Switzerland. It presents a traditional Swiss style, and the environment is both elegant and romantic.
The restaurant offers two menus, Set Lunch and a la Carte. Set Lunch is more cost-effective than a la carte. Three courses with meals are only $490+ per person, which is actually a very reasonable price. The only drawback is that you can’t get the signature cheese fondue. The restaurant knew that we were here to celebrate an anniversary today, so they prepared chocolate plates with celebration words on them for us, which was quite heartwarming. As for the taste, everyone has a different opinion, but it can still be regarded as a pleasant dining experience.
