#Wafflesandshrimpcakes On February 19th, I went to #Tai Po Waterfront Park #to enjoy the flowers.
Appreciate the wonders of birds before appreciating the flowers.
Since there were too many people surrounding the hydrangeas, Waffles and Shrimp Cakes went to look for #Double-petaled mountain cherry blossoms first. The double-petaled mountain cherry is also known as the double-petaled cherry blossom, and its pink flowers are particularly eye-catching. The double-petaled mountain cherry blossoms hang down in a bell shape, which is completely different from the Guangzhou cherry blossoms in Tung Chung and the Fuji cherry blossoms in Shimen.
There are bicolor #Azaleas in bloom under the cherry trees.
Leave the row of double-petaled cherry blossoms and find #PurpleMagnolia. Do you see the water droplets on the petals?
In addition to double-petaled mountain cherry blossoms, Tai Po Waterfront Park also has #FujiSakura, which is located near the lawn bowling green.
Afterwards we walked to the camellia garden, where different #camellias were planted. A single-petal camellia has only five to eight petals in a circle.
Wof’s favorite photo is the orderly double-petaled camellia.
Red and white camellias are relatively rare.
#Rose There are not many visitors in the garden, so you can take your time to take photos.
The most popular #hydrangea is planted in the sea of flowers in front of the Hong Kong Handover Memorial Tower. Waffles and shrimp crackers quickly took a "I was here" photo and left.
The last time I visited Tai Po Waterfront Park was in mid-December last year. The weather was clear and the scenery was so beautiful that I had to climb up the Hong Kong Handover Memorial Tower to appreciate the waffles and shrimp cakes.
The #HongKongReturnMemorialTower, which opened in 1997, is a two-story building with a spiral design and made of wood.
Climb the 32.4-meter-high memorial tower to enjoy the beautiful views of the park and Tolo Harbour.
