Afternoon tea at the Peninsula Hotel brought an unexpected wonderful experience. Although my reservation was canceled unannounced at the place I originally booked, the afternoon tea at the Peninsula Hotel Lobby Café had the right opportunity for on-site seating for the day. I was also lucky enough to get seating close to the window, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

The Peninsula Hotel afternoon tea excelled in terms of environment, service and experience. From the dinner plates to the tea sets, everything is exquisite and full of ritual. Sitting in a comfortable chair, I can admire the beautiful view outside the window and enjoy the tranquil moments.

Relatively, however, food performed slightly less. While the furnishings of the dishes are still elaborate, the taste seems less surprising and innovative. Next time I might try their main course to see if it would be more satisfying for the taste enjoyment.

The Peninsula Hotel's grand lobby and attentive service are unforgettable.
Although the food palate was slightly lacking, this did not detract from the overall experience.
For a posh afternoon tea experience, the Peninsula Hotel is a good choice.
