Exquisite English Afternoon Tea ~ The Peninsula Hong Kong

This time I booked the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong on trip.com. The room rate included takeaway afternoon tea, which was served from noon. Although it was not served in the restaurant, the staycation package automatically delayed check-out to 4pm, so I could take it into the room and enjoy it slowly. It was very relaxing and a different experience.

The English afternoon tea consists of 18 items in 8 flavors, including 4 English scones, 6 savory biscuits, and the rest are sweet biscuits.

The pastries are exquisitely presented, and the English muffins are served with cotter cream and strawberry jam. They are delicious and have a traditional British feel. My favorite is the apple cake. The cute green apple shape is very eye-catching. The butter-flavored cake is filled with lava apple paste. It is not too sweet and gives people a refreshing feeling.
