The hot pot all-you-can-eat options I usually go for are either Japanese or Taiwanese.
#MeiZiGuo is a hot pot restaurant from Singapore, with a dreamy pink decor.
It even has a small indoor children's playground, making it a must-see hot pot restaurant.
The two-hour all-you-can-eat offer has four set menus, and the hot pot broths are available in nourishing varieties.
We chose the B Selection: 6+1 Fresh Meat All-You-Can-Eat Set (HKD 278).
The broth was a herbal drunken chicken hotpot, which was rich and sweet, and even after adding more broth, it remained rich.
You can choose your own sauces, and you can also grab Hong Kong-style snacks like bowl-shaped shark's fin.
Drinks are also self-service, including soft drinks and bottled Hung Fook Tong drinks.
Hot pot ingredients and desserts are ordered using an iPad. The sashimi boats are served first after you're seated, and they're all quite fresh.
The food isn't particularly fast, but the biggest issue is that some orders are missed.
As for the food quality, the meats were all quite high-quality.
The American Prime sirloin shoulder, in particular, was incredibly rich and flavorful. The tongue was also incredibly smooth and chewy.
Our set meal also included seafood: the scalloped sirloin was refreshingly sweet, along with fish maw.
There were also meatballs, dumplings, fish curd, tofu, and more, offering a wide selection.
The desserts were all-you-can-eat; I highly recommend the tofu sorbet.
The pomelo sorbet was a welcome relief.
Although there were some missed orders, the service was generally excellent.
This hot pot all-you-can-eat restaurant is open until 2:00 AM,
making it perfect for those who want to eat later.
