📍North Point｜Long queues for Taiwanese railway bento 🍱 Low overall cost performance!

Recently, I met up with some friends for lunch in North Point. There is a popular Taiwanese bento restaurant "Na Na" nearby. The main store is located in Tai Kok Tsui, and it specializes in Taiwanese railway bento. The North Point branch is themed on Taiwan's retro railways 🚋. Whether it is the seats, windows or store doors, they are all modeled after Taiwan's railway stations. The restaurant's chairs and dining tables are dominated by dark wood, and the seats near the floor-to-ceiling windows are like the waiting room of an old Taiwan railway station, adding an extra "old-fashioned flavor."

Among them, the signature braised pork ribs bento HKD68 🍱 is famous for its super huge portion, and it really lives up to its reputation the moment it comes on stage ~ the portion of pork ribs covers the entire bowl of rice, it’s super big! Unfortunately, the taste of the braised pork ribs was disappointing, dark in color but bland in flavor. The bento ingredients are very rich, including fried vermicelli, braised eggplant, tamago, etc.

Another Braised Beef Noodles set costs HKD86 🍜 The soup stock has a strong medicinal flavor and is sweet; the thick-cut beef tendon has an okay beef flavor; the meatballs are refreshing and chewy, but the noodles are the least tasty, with an average taste.

You can add snacks to the lunch set at a discounted price. The Taiwanese sausage is HKD12 and is probably the best thing in Taiwan 🤭. Two pieces of crispy fried chicken are HKD28, which are slightly warm and taste average. If you add food, you can also add brown sugar grass jelly milk for HKD16 and lemon winter melon aiyu for HKD12.

The restaurant indicated that all seats are reserved, and there were especially many people queuing during lunch time. Although the seating time was limited, we still waited for half an hour. The waiting time was directly proportional to the expectation 😄 Unfortunately, the food quality is average and the price is a bit expensive, so the overall cost performance is low!
