I have loved eating pigeon since I was a child. Every time I order a pigeon, my family will always give me a few more pieces to eat☺️ This time I went to the Long Wah Hotel in Shatin, which is full of historical background, to taste its most famous royal roast pigeon😋

🏮Longhua Hotel was built in 1938 before the war and opened in 1951. It was the first hotel to open in Shatin after the war. At that time, the upper floor was used as a guest room, and the lower floor was used as a restaurant and accounting room. To this day it continues to operate purely as a restaurant. The decoration of the restaurant retains the style of the 1950s and 1960s. From the red lantern corridor🏮 to the small garden, it is full of Hong Kong feelings and has a unique flavor

⭐️Long Wah Crispy Grilled Pigeon Royal $98
Of course we have to eat the signature dish grilled breast pigeon! The breast pigeon is plump and has a lot of fat. It keeps all the meat juicy on the whole, which is indeed very tasty. Because it is not dry roasted using the usual "hanging skin" method, the skin of the breast pigeon will not be too crispy, and there is no fear of over-roasting. Instead, the meat is smooth, tender and juicy, which is reminiscent😋

⭐️ Fresh Pineapple Sweet and Sour Pork $168
I like the sweet and sour pork not very fatty, bite-sized meat, but also fried crispy and crispy, and not too sweet. Served with fresh pineapple🍍, sweet and refreshing, an excellent dish.
