Discovery Park Hotpot Restaurant, Lunch Set Menu at a Discount Price

While taking a baking class in Discovery Park, I also ate at a newly opened hotpot restaurant upstairs. It was my first time trying a Thai-themed hotpot.

🚇Transportation: Take bus 60M and get off at Discovery Park Station, or near the exit of Tsuen Wan Station, opposite Cafe de Coral and next to Milk Cafe.

🏠Environment: The theme is light white. There is a self-service area near the entrance, which is equipped with lemongrass tea and hot water, vegetable 🥬 area, appetizers, snacks and desserts. The seating arrangement is spacious, with floor-to-ceiling glass window booths, two-person booths against the wall, and a few plants in the atrium for decoration. The overall feeling is fresh and natural.

🤵🏻Service: Order manually, select hot pot or set meal before sitting down, then choose hot pot soup base, no surcharge.

🍽️Lunch: You can choose a 60-minute fixed-quantity hotpot or a regular set meal. There are five soup bases, and we all ordered Thai flavor.

🥩Selected Beef Shank Set 🍲 $118
The Tom Yum soup base is rich and a little spicy. The beef shank has less fat, is tender, and is cut thinly. It has a strong beef flavor when you put it in your mouth. I personally like beef shank more than beef brisket.

🥩Australian M7 beef brisket set meal🍲 $158
The Thai clear soup base has a light coriander flavor. 🥩A quarter of the beef brisket is fat. It is a little thicker than the beef shank, has some tendons, is smoother, and has a beef flavor.

🍵Lemongrass tea: It is said to have many benefits for the body. It has a light lemongrass flavor and is sweet.

🥗Appetizers and 🫔Snacks: There are papaya salad🥗, Thai vermicelli, Thai boneless chicken feet, which are very refreshing and appetizing. There are also fried fish cakes, fried chicken wings🍗, fried taro balls, etc., all fried to a crisp.

🍰Dessert: Coconut milk sago cake, palm-sized, with a balanced sweetness, and sweet corn 🌽 is added to enrich the taste. There is also ice cream available, and my friend said the strawberry popsicles are delicious 😋!
