Tsuen Wan's high-quality Michelin recommended Chinese dishes, a variety of affordable lunch sets

This time Shawn went to Tsuen Wan for lunch and chose Putian, a restaurant from Singapore. It specializes in Chinese cuisine and uses fresh and natural ingredients. It is also a Michelin recommended restaurant 👍🏻.

The most popular item here is the $68 lunch set for one person, but this time, the three of us chose the $198 set for two people, which includes shrimp fry mixed with freshwater seaweed, Chinese cabbage stewed with soft tofu, Fu Tong fried oysters and a main course of your choice (red mushroom seafood braised noodles/Xinghua fried rice noodles/fishermen's seaweed stewed rice).

The appetizer is shrimp fry mixed with freshwater seaweed, which is a cold dish. The seaweed and shrimp fry are very fragrant and appetizing. Then there was Chinese cabbage stewed with soft tofu. The tofu and hot thick soup were very memorable. Then there were fried oyster cakes and fried rice noodles. The oysters were of normal size and fried with egg batter until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, very delicious. Xinghua rice noodles are made from pure rice. They are as thin as hair, have a soft and flexible texture and are full of natural rice aroma. After frying, add some Putian’s secret spicy sauce to enjoy a different flavor!

The restaurant is spacious and has baby stools. If you want to go home and revisit the taste, you can buy hair algae and Xinghua rice noodles in various Putian branches😆
