High-Quality Western and Japanese Cuisine in Yuen Long

Grass and Sea by PEKO PEKO. YOHO Mix has many new restaurants, and one of them, which I previously visited at Tsuen Wan's Ocean Pride, has now opened a branch in YOHO. The restaurant is themed around grass and sea, offering a comfortable and stylish environment.

🫕 Mushroom Cappuccino $58
The name of this dish is quite interesting, and it indeed resembles a cappuccino. The mushrooms are blended into a puree, giving it a rich mushroom flavor, with small mushroom bits for texture. A layer of cream is added on top, making it even more fragrant and smooth when stirred together. The soup is served with a Danish roll, a unique pairing.

🦪 Crispy Hiroshima Oysters $68
The batter is thin and very crispy, while the Hiroshima oysters inside are juicy and tender, not overcooked at all. The frying is exceptionally well done.

🦀🍝 Seafood-Stuffed Crab Shell with White Sauce Pasta $168
The crab shell presentation is attractive, filled with various seafood and baked with cheese. Underneath the crab shell, there are also squid and clams. The white sauce is rich and has an onion aroma, and the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.

🥩🦐 Pan-Seared Prawns and Beef Tenderloin with Port Wine Sauce $368
The prawns are large and remain bouncy after searing. The beef tenderloin is cooked to medium-well, with a tender pink center and fully cooked exterior. It feels tender when cut but is slightly chewy when eaten. Personally, I recommend ordering it medium for a better texture. Notably, the mashed potatoes here are different from the usual; they mix diced vegetables with creamy cheese mashed potatoes and then pan-fry them. The creamy flavor pairs better with the beef tenderloin than the port wine sauce.
