The High Island Reservoir in Sai Kung, Hong Kong, is listed as a UNESCO World Geopark in Hong Kong and is one of the few volcanic features in Hong Kong.
This time I came on a weekday, there were no minibuses, so I took a green taxi from the center of Sai Kung and it took about 20-30 minutes to arrive. The road was very winding, and I saw a lot of cows along the way (more than 20), and I also passed through Sai Ba.
On weekdays, there are few people and few cars. You can take pictures on the main road of Dongba. It is very close to walk along the road on Dongba. There is a large sea on both sides. The sea water is very clear. With the blue sky, it is invincible. You can also find some large and stable rocks on the roadside on both sides to sit on and watch the sea and relax. You can also walk to the breakwater below! The sloping breakwater is very fast and can be reached in about 5 minutes. There is also a road below to the sea cave, and the whole route will take 2 hours.
(On weekdays, you need to take a taxi, and some tourists will ask if they want to take a taxi together🤣)
