Michelin-Starred Unagi Specialty Restaurant from Japan

Visited a Michelin-starred unagi (eel) specialty restaurant from Japan tonight. Luckily, my friend made a reservation, otherwise, we would have had to come back early tomorrow morning.

Which do you prefer: shirayaki (grilled without sauce) or kabayaki (grilled with sauce) unagi rice? I usually prefer the fragrant kabayaki, but this time the shirayaki wasn't as aromatic. The kabayaki, with its sweet sauce mixed with rice, was more reliable. The set meal comes with pickles and soup, which includes eel liver, adding extra points.

We also ordered a few side dishes: fried eel bones for those who love crispy snacks. The spring rolls filled with eel were a first for me. The tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) with eel was not overcooked.
