Praying for blessings from the Lord Chakkong at Chakkongmui Temple🙏🏻✨

Che Kung Temple, a famous temple for tourists who like to travel to worship and ask for blessings to increase luck and fortune in life.

Che Kung Temple is one of the sacred things that Hong Kong people have respected for a long time. The statue of Che Kung was built to commemorate the warrior Che Kung, a skilled warrior in the Song Dynasty who defeated enemies who invaded Hong Kong Island and kept them safe until today. The statue of Che Kung (Che Kung Yeh Yeh) is located in Che Kung Temple, one of the most popular temples in Hong Kong, which is famous for its sacredness, fortune, and money that will bring good things to you and ward off bad things from your life. Therefore, tourists from many Asian countries, especially Thai tourists who like to travel to Hong Kong, must come to worship at least once because they believe that it will bring good fortune and improve their luck. It is believed that turning the windmill at this temple can turn bad things into good things and make everything go smoothly like a windmill.

Worshiping the God of Che Kung
-There will be temple staff selling incense and various offerings.
-When you get the incense, take it to the officer to light the incense in the open area.
-Write the name on the slip to ward off bad luck and dispel bad things.
-How to pay respect and ask for a blessing: Turn away from the temple and tell the heavens and earth first by stating your name, address, age, and purpose of making merit at the temple this time. Then take 3 incense sticks and put them in every pot.

-When you enter the shrine, stand in front of the giant statue of Che Kung.
-Pray for a blessing and look at his face with determination.
-Perform the ritual of turning the windmill of fate by using your index finger to turn the windmill clockwise.
-If your life in the past year has not been good, use your left hand to turn it from left to right.
-If your life is already good, turn the windmill back from right to left.
-When you have finished turning the windmill, beat the drum 3 more times loudly to let heaven and earth know and let the blessing be granted.🙏🏻

To get to Che Kung Temple, you can take the MRT to Che Kung Temple Station and take Exit B. Then follow the signs and you will find the temple.
