Pray for blessings at Che Kung Temple in Hong Kong

Che Kung Temple is famous for praying for luck, wealth, and success, and is popular among Thai people.

📍How to pray and the steps to follow

🙏🏻There are incense sets for purchase in front of the temple. When you enter the gate, you will see them right away.

🙏🏻Pray to Heaven and Earth first. Face the temple gate, then say your full name, date of birth, and address. Pray three times, then turn back inside the temple and say "Good luck, Amen."

🙏🏻Pray to the local deity. After praying, stick three incense sticks into the incense burner in front of the temple gate.

🙏🏻Pray to the deity Che Kung. Stand in front of the statue of Che Kung, say your full name, then make your wish. After praying, place the joss paper (silver and gold paper) in the designated spot provided by the temple staff.

🙏🏻Spin the Wheel of Fortune. Make a wish and spin the wheel three times. If your past life was not good, use your left hand to spin the wheel from left to right. If your past life was already good and you want it to be even better, spin the wheel from right to left.

🙏🏻Beat the drum. After spinning the wheel, gently beat the drum three times to let Heaven and Earth know and to make your wish come true.
