Ma Tso Lung is located in the north of Kwu Tung, Hong Kong, south of Hokkien Wai, and is only separated from Shenzhen by a river. This used to be a restricted border area in Hong Kong, but now many villages including Ma Tso Lung New Village and Xinyi New Village have been unblocked and the public can enter and exit freely.

The scenery of Ma Cao Long is very beautiful, especially at sunset.
