[Hong Kong Food Review] Yi Dian Xin-Michelin one-star affordable Hong Kong dim sum 🥟🥢

Affordable Hong Kong Dim Sum has won one Michelin star for two consecutive years. We arrived before business hours but there was already a long queue. The clerk was very enthusiastic and gave each customer a number sheet so that customers don’t have to wait there. Those who arrive soon can also order first, so that they can order quickly 🤣!

We ordered shrimp bean curd rolls 🍤, hometown salted water dumplings 🥟, pan-fried radish cake, exquisite Mala cake and thin-skinned shrimp dumplings 🍤. Hot tea is HK$7 per person. If I wasn't afraid of not being able to eat it, I really want to order more! I love salted water dumplings the most. I have never eaten them in Taiwan. They are fried until crispy and crispy. The filling is salty and fragrant with a little sweetness, and it has the chewy texture of glutinous rice dumplings. It is very special and delicious 😋! The shrimp dumplings have a thin skin and are full of fillings. The shrimp filling is sweet and elastic. The Mala cake has a unique milky aroma when it is served. The cake is dense, moist and solid, and very filling. The bean curd rolls are fried crispy but not greasy, and they go great with the sweet soy sauce. The radish cake has bacon, and it is fried fragrant and delicious. It is good to eat it plain or with double sauce. Every dish is above standard. No wonder the store is full of customers and every seat is packed!
