The branch preserves over 1,600 living specimens of southern medicinal herbs, making it one of the largest collections of such resources in my country.
The Xinglong Southern Medicinal Herb Botanical Garden currently features six scenic spots: the Endangered and Endemic Southern Medicinal Herb Area, the Southern Medicinal Herb Ecological Protection Area, the Imported Southern Medicinal Herb Garden, the Live Southern Medicinal Herb Labeling Garden, the Southern Medicinal Herb Introduction Area, and the Southern Medicinal Herb Introduction and Domestication Base, along with a natural plant essential oil experience center. The garden boasts over a thousand plant species, representing over 80 tropical plant families and genera.
