Enjoy Nature at Tai Po Waterfront Park

If you usually have a busy work schedule and feel a bit overwhelmed, I recommend a great place for you: Tai Po Waterfront Park. Covering an area of 22 hectares, the park's embankment is also the annual venue for the Tai Po District Dragon Boat Race.

You can choose to walk slowly from Tai Po Market Station to Tai Po Waterfront Park, which takes about half an hour. Along the way, you will see small rivers, boats, and birds soaring in the sky. The park offers a variety of facilities, including an insect house, a kite flying area, a cycling path, a model boat pool, several themed gardens, and an open-air theater. Visitors can also climb the Hong Kong Reunification Memorial Tower in the park to get a bird's eye view of Tai Po Waterfront and Tolo Harbour. Surprisingly, you can find many cherry blossom trees in the park, which look stunning under the sunset, giving you a feeling of being in Japan.
