Walk on Mars. Shing Mun Lower Reservoir
Shing Mun Lower Reservoir was closed due to a fatal accident recently, and now has been 🚫 banned from entering, so this time I do not introduce the location traffic, just want to share the photos I took before being closed 📸.
**This post is purely for sharing, we do not recommend you to take pictures🙅♀️ Interested friends can watch it from a distance in Sheung Shui Reservoir**
The Lower Shing Mun Reservoir has always been a hiking hotspot. The amount of water stored in the reservoir is deliberately maintained at a lower level to be reserved for collecting rainwater when the rainfall surges🌧. Due to the works, the water in the reservoir has been temporarily drained, coupled with the dry and cracked state of sunny weather for days, which makes people feel like they are on 👽👾 Mars.
