Touching the Clouds: Hiking Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong’s Highest Peak

Hiking Tai Mo Shan was one of the most refreshing and awe-inspiring experiences I’ve had in Hong Kong. As the highest peak in the city, it offers stunning panoramic views—on clear days, you can see all the way to Shenzhen! The trail is well-paved and accessible, but still gives you that true “mountain hike” feel. Along the way, I passed misty forests, rolling hills, and even grazing cows. The weather can get cool and foggy near the top, which gives the summit a mystical vibe. It's peaceful, uncrowded, and a perfect escape into nature. Definitely a must-do for hikers!
