Above the clouds, seeking a moment of quiet breeze

#HongKongHiking
Tai Mo Shan, as the highest peak in Hong Kong, is a pilgrimage site that hikers must not miss. Along the climb, mist swirls around, as if stepping closer to the sky with every step. Starting from the foot of the mountain, passing through lush green forest trails and winding paths, a sense of escaping the hustle and bustle follows. On a summer afternoon, the clouds gently press on the summit; standing at the top and looking far and wide, the views of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories unfold like a poetic painting.
Here, there is no city noise, only the rustling of the wind and the occasional passing bird. That day, I reached the summit surrounded by white fog, with low visibility, yet my mind was exceptionally clear. This height and tranquility make one rethink the pace of life. Tai Mo Shan is not just a geographical high point but also a climb towards nature and one’s inner self.
