Visiting the Man Mo Temple in Hong Kong

The Man Mo Temple on Hong Kong Island is dedicated to Man Cheong, the god of literature, and Kwan Yu, the god of war. The sight of high-rise buildings standing behind the temple is a very typical Hong Kong scene.

Inside the temple, you are enveloped in a dim and solemn atmosphere. Looking up at the spiral incense coils hanging from the ceiling, you can feel a mystical air.
The spiral incense takes a long time to burn out, and it is said that when it finally does, your wish will come true.

The temple is often crowded with worshippers, and the smoke from the incense fills the air. It might be a bit difficult for those who are sensitive to smoke.
If you come to Hong Kong Island, be sure to stop by. #HongKongTourism #SheungWanManMoTemple
