🚉 Take the Airport Express to Hong Kong Station!
The journey takes 24 minutes. There are no ticket gates at the airport.
I had bought a Trip.com voucher in advance.

10:10 Hong Kong Station

The congee shop we visited this time has a very local atmosphere.
Don't forget the youtiao! The portions are large, so you can take it home.
There are many Hong Kong fast food restaurants and cha chaan tengs nearby, so it's convenient🫶

11:00 Stroll around Man Mo Temple & Cat Street
Man Mo Temple is a nostalgic place with swirling incense smoke. Free incense sticks available.

There's a lot of junk on Cat Street... some bargains. I recommend going after lunchtime.

11:30 Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences
🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: Beautiful modern architecture. Basement/2 floors above ground
🕰️Opening hours: 10:00-17:00

A museum with a calm atmosphere. It's an interesting spot to learn about the history of Chinese medicine and medicine in Hong Kong.

12:00 Tai Kwun
A new tourist spot in Hong Kong!

📍Location: Central area

🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: A photogenic spot renovated from modern architecture! Free Wi-Fi, toilets, rest areas, and information desk available. Cafe and bar also available.
The police station and prison, which can be viewed for free, are impressive!

13:00 Take the tram to Wan Chai
Get on at the back of the tram and get off at the front.
When you get off, tap your Octopus card or credit card or insert cash. No change is given for cash.

14:00 Window shopping in the Wan Chai area🛍️
Cheap clothes and household goods. For people on Hong Kong Island, this area is like Shibuya or Harajuku.

14:30 🍨Dessert break at Tsui Yuen Dessert
A dessert shop with a local atmosphere. You can also enjoy sesame soup and turtle jelly.

17:00 Take a double-decker bus through Nathan Road🚌
🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: There's a roof so you're safe even in the rain. Don't oversleep in the traffic!

17:30 Strolling around Ladies' Market
🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: It feels like an Asian night market. The items for sale are T-shirts and "Chinese" miscellaneous goods. I wonder if there's anything that people who are used to going to Asia would buy...
Oh, but Goldfish Street and Little Bird Street are interesting!

18:00 Take-out egg tarts from Kocha Himura 🧁
💰Price per person: 8HKD (I think?)
💞Reasons why I recommend it: Cheap! Warm! No lines!!
The taste had a strong egg flavor, and the tart dough was not too sweet, so I could eat as many as I wanted✨
Recommended for people who want to eat something local and easy🫶

19:00 Shen Zai Ching 🦐
Shrimp wonton from one of Hong Kong's top 10 restaurants!

🕰️Opening hours: 8:30-4:00

📍Location: 5 minutes walk from Mongkok Station

💰Price per person: 35-60HKD

🍤Shrimp wonton noodles at Zhao Pai HKD36
Though the noodles are thin, they are firm. The wonton noodles are filled with plump shrimp, and come with 5 pieces!

I should have eaten the stir-fried greens that came with it 🥹

20:00 Symphony of Lights 🌃
Speaking of Hong Kong! Night view spot. The 10-minute show that starts at 20:00 is said to be the largest in the world

📍Location: Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is recommended.

20:10- We returned to the airport by bus/train. 🚉 Less than 30 minutes from Kowloon Station. 80HKD with voucher. 🚌 Arrived in about 1 hour depending on traffic. 35HKD. Both can be paid by credit card!
