Beautiful Wagyu with sea urchin broth shabu-shabu

It’s been a long time since Mom went to Japan 🎎, and she misses Japanese Wagyu a bit~
So I brought her to Tanukikoji in Causeway Bay to enjoy some Wagyu sukiyaki 🫕~
First, choose the broth. Besides sukiyaki, they also have sea urchin broth here 😋~
In Japan, it costs about 8000 yen, but here it’s only an extra 58 HKD~
That means the whole meal is just around 200 HKD, such a great deal 👍~
We ordered the marbled A4+ 🐮, then a pork shoulder, and added an extra lean cut~
They even teach you how to cook sukiyaki here 👩🍳~
Start by frying some onions 🧅 in the beef fat~
Then add the beef to cook and pour in the sukiyaki sauce~
Finally, dip it in the raw egg to eat 🥚~
The flavor is rich, and the aroma of the Wagyu fat is very enticing~
The sea urchin broth is also very fresh and sweet~
The staff will first mash the sea urchin for you to make the broth even more flavorful 🤩~
We used it to cook the pork shoulder 🐷, which was tender and very springy~
The meat here is really beautiful 😚, whether it’s sukiyaki or just shabu-shabu, it’s top-notch 🔥~
The meal also comes with a vegetable platter 🥬~
You can choose udon or ramen for the main dish 🍜~
And there’s dessert at the end too 🍩, very satisfying~
