Check in at the sea dam

#HongKongScenicCheckInSpot
Man Yee Reservoir is located in Sai Kung Country Park, New Territories. It is an important water facility in Hong Kong, built by connecting an island and the mainland with two large dams, east and west. The east dam’s auxiliary dam is made up of 2,500 huge double-T shaped concrete wave-dissipating blocks to protect the main dam from wave erosion🌊. The dam structure is solid and majestic, and the surrounding mountain and water scenery is beautiful🏞, attracting many visitors to come and take photos📷. The area around the east dam is also part of the UNESCO Global Geopark, featuring many unique hexagonal volcanic rock columns and sea caves, making it a popular spot for geology enthusiasts. To get to the east dam, you can take a taxi from Sai Kung Market or hike from Pak Tam Chung, enjoying the reservoir and west dam scenery along the way.
