Recommended 10 Places in Hong Kong Suitable for First-Time Visitors

#RainySeasonTravel Here are 10 recommended places in Hong Kong that we feel are perfect for those visiting Hong Kong for the first time. It's like a checklist to cover all these spots, and all of them are very easy to get to. Most of the time, we even take the bus to get there.

1. Tian Tan Buddha – The big Buddha statue located next to Ngong Ping Village.

2. Ngong Ping Village – You can take bus 23 from Citygate Mall directly here, or you can also take the cable car.

3. Ngong Ping 360 – The Ngong Ping cable car offering a 360-degree view of Hong Kong Island.

4. Kennedy Town – A harbor town that feels both peaceful and lively at the same time. A highlight is the photo spot in the alley near the basketball court.

5. The Peak Lookout – The viewpoint on Victoria Peak. You can take the tram up or bus number 15. It’s also a trail running route.

6. The Peak Galleria – A mall at The Peak with many restaurants, souvenir shops, and cafes.

7. Central District – An area full of skyscrapers and many brand stores. It’s bustling, lively, and great for walking and taking photos.

8. Pottinger Street – A street in Central with stairs going up, perfect for beautiful photos.

9. Cheung Kong Park – A park near Central with lots of shade and a waterfall, a nice spot to relax.

10. iclub Wan Chai – The last place is not a tourist spot but accommodation. We feel that if you’re visiting Hong Kong for the first time, you can stay here. It’s located in Wan Chai district on Hong Kong Island, very convenient with MTR and trams passing right in front of the hotel.
