Did you know? This charming red-brick building was originally the "Old Sheung Wan Market North Block"! It was designated as a Hong Kong statutory monument as early as 1990 and is the oldest market building in the city. After its renovation in 1991, it transformed into a shopping center that blends history with modernity, with surprises hidden in every corner!

‼️ With nearly 120 years of history, the statutory monument Western Market is about to begin a two-year renovation project. By the end of May 2025, the shops on the ground floor will relocate, and the fabric merchants on the first floor will move out by the end of 2020.

🚇 Transportation Tips:
Take Exit B at Sheung Wan Station and walk for 1 minute, or hop on the tram to the "Sheung Wan (Western Market)" terminus. The red archway at the entrance is super easy to spot!
