Man Wah Ice Room Reliving the Flavors of Old Hong Kong

Today I went to Metroplaza in Kwai Fong to watch a movie and took the chance to see if there was any good food. There are indeed many choices here, making it hard to decide 🫩, but seeing a long line at Man Wah Ice Room, I decided to go in and give it a try~

💞 Reasons for Recommendation:

It was my first time trying their signature "✨Soul-Stirring Rice," featuring thick-cut char siu with half fat and half lean meat. Each piece was large and melted in my mouth, with great flavor. Paired with two freshly pan-fried eggs, it was unforgettable.

The "🐷Scallion Oil Pan-Fried Double Egg Pork Chop Rice" had a large pork chop with the bone in. The texture was tender and well-marinated, bursting with juice in every bite. Combined with the egg yolk and black bean sauce, it was a perfect match with the rice, making it very enjoyable! Also, the "🐂🍜Ginger Pork Liver and Beef Rice Noodle Soup" was cooked just right. The rice noodles were super smooth, the broth rich and flavorful with a strong ginger taste. The beef was tender, springy, and plentiful, and the pork liver was delicious in both texture and flavor.
