Zhuji is located in the north-central part of Zhejiang Province, bordering Hangzhou to the north, Shaoxing to the east, and Yiwu to the south.

Wuxie Scenic Area

The Wuxie Scenic Area, formerly known as the "Wuxie Scenic Area," is located 20 kilometers west of Zhuji City. "Xie" in the name means waterfall. The scenic area consists of four scenic areas: Wuxie Lake, Taoyuan, Dongyuan, and Xiyuan Canyons. Entering by boat from Wuxie Lake, passing through the Taoyuan Scenic Area, adorned with lush bamboo and wildflowers, you'll reach the scenic area's most scenic spot, the Dongyuan Scenic Area, home to the Wuxie waterfalls. Climbing the steps, you'll find five waterfalls cascading down the mountain in five distinct tiers: the fifth tier is beautiful, the fourth tier is winding, the third tier is broad, the second tier is tranquil, and the first tier is miniature.
