12 Hours of Crazy Lounge Hopping During a Hong Kong Transit! The Experience Was Mind-Blowing (Part 1)

Who would have thought! Landed in Hong Kong at 10:30 PM, with a flight at 8:30 AM the next day, a 12-hour layover turned me into a lounge explorer 🚀 Checked in at intervals, Cathay Pacific’s The Wing, The Pier Business/First Class, and Plaza Premium Lounge all in one go!

First stop was intervals at the Sky Bridge, which is more of a restaurant~ The Instagram-worthy floor-to-ceiling windows are super eye-catching, but unfortunately, arriving at 11:15 PM meant it was closing soon 😭 Luckily, I got to snap some stunning shots overlooking the airport! You can redeem a set meal with DragonPass/PP, and the menu changes around 11 PM. On a nice day, eating and watching planes here is definitely chill~

The main highlight has to be the Cathay lounges! The Pier Business Class area at Gate 65 is simply legendary 🌟 Western food zone with pizza, the bar’s signature Cathay Delight, the Chinese food zone with dan dan noodles, plus freshly squeezed juice in the tea room — it’s basically a food expo! Watching planes take off and land by the floor-to-ceiling windows, you get the best view of all the airport’s gems~ But they started clearing out at 12:30 AM, so I quickly moved to The Bridge at Gate 2!

The Bridge has plenty of seats, but recliners are scarce 🥲 Private spaces are decent, and the hot food is similar to The Pier. Unfortunately, they politely asked everyone to leave by 3:00 AM, but this was just the beginning! The upcoming Plaza Premium Lounge, First Class The Pier, and First Class The Wing are even more amazing — wait for my next post with the big reveal!
