Awesome pool and great dinner! Silk Sense Riverside Resort Hoi An is awesome!

Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort was probably the best value hotel we stayed at out of the dozen or so countries we've traveled to together.

It boasts four-star standards with five-star quality, a stunning pool with panoramic views, complimentary massages with check-in, and is close to Ampang Beach. Both the facilities and services deserve a thumbs up!

I chose the Deluxe Private Garden room on the first floor, about 12 square meters, with natural light from three sides and a separate entrance from the rooms on the second and third floors. There was a private courtyard behind the room, with banana trees and a rattan sofa bed, creating a tropical atmosphere. The bathroom was incredibly bright, and the marble bathtub was large enough for two people to soak in. The abundant greenery outside the window made me want to laze around in the tub first thing in the morning, surrounded by greenery.

Dinner was also surprisingly delicious! We ordered the chef's special raw beef rice noodles, local specialty high-rise noodles, a plate of fried spring rolls, a plate of what the locals call "water spinach" (which is actually our water spinach), a cocktail, and a bottle of beer. It didn't seem like much, but when it arrived at the table, it was almost overflowing! And the whole thing only cost a little over NT$1000—such a bargain!

It was my husband's birthday on the day we checked in. Instead of ordering fancy steak or lobster, we opted for a delicious and affordable local birthday dinner, which left a much deeper impression and I still think about it!
