Hong Kong is a world-renowned tourist and vacation city, attracting thousands of visitors every day. It is a great city for family trips with children. This time, we recommend a family-friendly hotel in Hong Kong: The Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.
The hotel is located on Connaught Road Central in Central, right next to the MTR station. It’s a 2-minute walk to Prince’s Building and 10 minutes to Central Pier and the Ferris wheel. Shopping at IFC or taking the Star Ferry is very convenient, making it especially suitable for family outings.
We stayed in a City View room. Although it didn’t offer a full view of Victoria Harbour, we were pleasantly surprised to catch a glimpse of a drone show from the room during our stay.

The turndown service was very thoughtful, folding scattered clothes, replenishing fruit, and even placing hand cream.
Family-friendly for those with kids: The room was equipped with corner guards, and the staff proactively asked if we needed a baby bathtub. The front desk staff were fluent in multiple languages, gentle, and professional. It’s a very warm and welcoming family hotel.
