You don’t forget the first five minutes. Walked into the room, dropped my bag, turned toward the window 🪟 and just stood there. The Harbour view wasn’t just a view, it felt like the city was breathing right in front of me. Buildings lit up like a slow-moving galaxy, and the Star Ferry slipped across the water like it had nowhere to be.

The room? Quiet luxury. Not loud about it. Everything exactly where you’d hope it would be. Switches that make sense. Bedding that’s clean in a way that feels private, not sterile. Even the light from the bathroom didn’t burn your eyes when you turned it on at 3am. That kind of thoughtfulness 😆

Service was polished but calm ☺️ never hovering, never scripted. A handwritten welcome card, warm tea without asking, and the kind of eye contact that tells you they actually saw your name.

Didn’t expect the breakfast to be that good 👍 but the congee came with pickled ginger that tasted homemade, and someone had thought about the toast not being dry at the edges. Small things. They add up.
