Go to Hong Kong hungry and come back full!🤣

In Hong Kong, there are so many places to explore and reminisce about the television drama we grew up watching. You will likely lose weight while navigating the iconic streets, Avenue of the Stars, and markets all day but will also quickly gain back what you lost when you eat multiple times a day! The food is so good that you seriously need to consider travelling here with more people so that they can share the calories with you. It does make the mealtime less of a burden.😅

Try Kai Kai dessert. The queue for this Michelin decorated dessert is long but it moves pretty fast. It's our go-to place for supper.

Try dimsum while in Hong Kong. We had ours in Luk On Kui restaurant which is located in Hong Kong Island. One will need to get used to sharing a table with strangers. :) Be alert and look out for the food trolleys. Tell (or point out to) the staff what food you want in the troller and pass her your slip of paper. She will indicate what you took on that paper and pass it back to you with the food. After you are done with your meal, bring that paper to the cashier to make payment.

While in HK Island, try the tram which locals call Ding Ding. It is a narrow but comfortable ride. Payment is easy and can be done by cash/card.

Other food we tried included Tai Kee restaurant cooked dishes, Kam Wah Cafe and Cake Shop's polo bun, Tai Cheong egg tarts, porridge, ice-cream, pig organs Trusty congee king noodles and prawn dumplings... Each will always have a special place in our guts.
