Shek O Beach is a favorite among surfers and bodyboarders in Hong Kong, especially when the swell is up. Located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island, it features a laid-back village vibe, soft sand, and clear waters. The beach is great for sunbathing, and while the surf isn’t always consistent, it can offer some fun waves after a typhoon. Watersport rental stalls make it easy to grab a board or float.
