Weekend indulgence with exquisite seasonal Japanese cuisine—Omakase 🇯🇵❤️

Every week, I make sure to enjoy a few meals of Japanese food. This weekend, I joined my friends for lunch at "Mu," a traditional Japanese kappo, sukiyaki, and tempura specialty restaurant located in Tsim Sha Tsui 🥢. Spanning 1,000 square feet, the restaurant features 14 counter seats where diners can enjoy their meals while watching the chefs showcase their craftsmanship up close, immersing themselves in authentic Japanese culinary culture.

"Mu" offers a menu that evolves with the seasons, showcasing the essence of premium seasonal ingredients. Seasonal cuisine (known as "Shun Ryori") is similar to Omakase but even more refined and luxurious! Every bite is a testament to the freshness of the ingredients and the dedication of the chefs 🫶🏻.

This feast features meticulously crafted dishes using seasonal ingredients, including appetizers, sashimi, tempura, desserts, and more—a culinary journey through Japan 🇯🇵.

🔸Appetizer: Jellyfish and sea cucumber in vinegar (sweet and tangy, refreshing and appetizing)
🔸Steamed Egg: Scallop Chawanmushi (with mushrooms, wood ear fungus, dried scallops, and lily bulbs)
🔸Thin Slices: Deep-sea pond fish and Shizuoka white fish sashimi
Served with scallion and tangy sauce (fresh and glossy, tender and fatty texture, delicate and smooth sashimi)
