The Big Buddha of Hong Kong: Serenity Above the Clouds

The Big Buddha on Lantau Island rose before me, serene and powerful, seated high above the lush mountains. Climbing the long staircase toward its presence, I felt both humbled and uplifted, each step drawing me closer to an aura of peace that seemed to radiate across the landscape. The bronze statue, immense yet tranquil, gazed over the island and the sea, a guardian of wisdom and harmony. Surrounded by temples, incense, and chanting prayers, the Big Buddha was more than a sight—it was an encounter with stillness, faith, and the timeless spirit of Hong Kong.
