Relaxing Getaway at Discovery Bay Hotel

I want to enjoy a few days of this trip. The goal is to get rid of the busy city and feel the resort-style life. Discovery Bay Hotel Hong Kong really has a fairytale feel beyond imagination. The sea view, white sand beach and beautiful rooms give you the illusion of going on vacation abroad. I just want to find a quiet and convenient place to relax

Transportation Location:
Although not in the heart of Hong Kong, Discovery Bay Hotel is located at 88 Hai Ching Lakeside Road, Discovery Bay, Lantau Island, away from the noise of the city. The hotel has free shuttle buses to and from popular destinations such as Disneyland and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station, making it extremely convenient for both family and couples on vacation. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby inside the hotel, so everything is easy to buy.

Environment & Landscape:
Most of the rooms in the hotel have open sea or mountain views, whether in the early morning or dusk watching the large blue and emerald green, the whole mood is lightened. Nearby are also super beautiful white sandy beaches and a lake area for daily strolls

Room Design & Comfort:
The room is big enough, the mattress is very comfortable, the decor tends to be simple and warm and you can take a bath while looking at the view. The hygiene is very clean, the rooms are equipped with branded drinking machines, convenient and hygienic

Facilities & Activities:
The hotel's outdoor pool is quite spacious. It's great to swim and sunbathe when the sun is good! There is a gym, a children's playground, and the hotel will have regular events or workshops.

Dining Experience:
There were quite a lot of choices for Chinese and Western buffet breakfast, the taste was better than I expected, the waiters were quite attentive and felt the courteous service. If you don't want to go out of the hotel at night, the restaurant food is actually ok

Itinerary Tips:
1. View rooms are good value for money. It is recommended to book a room type with large windows or a sea view in advance.
2. Make good use of the hotel shuttle bus, check the schedule in advance, it is convenient enough to go to Disneyland or change the subway.
3. Early check-in is recommended before weekends or holidays so you can enjoy the facilities more chill.

Finally, if you want to play Hong Kong to have a "foreign vacation" feel, I sincerely recommend you to try Discovery Bay Hotel. Although the transportation is not as direct as the central area, the quiet environment, fairytale scenery and friendly service are well worth a stay.
