Introducing Nanxiong Pingtian Ginkgo

The Nanxiong Ginkgo Tree is located in Pingtian Town, southeast of Nanxiong City, Guangdong Province, and northwest of Maozifeng Town, 58 kilometers from the city center. Within Pingtian Town lies a vast, millennium-old ginkgo forest. Among its more than 2,000 trees, the oldest is over 1,680 years old, while the youngest is between 200 and 300 years old. This has become a unique Nanxiong attraction: an ancient ginkgo community.

Every autumn, the leaves of the ancient ginkgo trees in Aobei, Jingdong, Jiangtang, Wangtang, Junyingzhai and other places in Pingtian Town fall yellow, and the ground is covered with golden color, attracting many photography "enthusiasts", artists and writers from inside and outside the province to come and create and collect materials.
