Sometimes I crave Hong Kong-style dai pai dong 🥢 wok stir-fries 🔥. A friend recently recommended "Ping Chau Specialty Wok Stir-fry," located upstairs on Lantern Street in Causeway Bay. The moment you walk in, you're instantly captivated by the nostalgic flavors of old Hong Kong 🇭🇰 ❤️. Enjoying small dishes and beer 🍺 is truly a unique experience, a step back in time!

For delicious snacks, we recommend the Nostalgic Toast (with Scallop Filling), a fresh and crispy appetizer I've never tried before. The cold pork knuckle 🐽 is generously sized, perfectly braised, tender, and fragrant with sand ginger. The golden eel 🐟 is pan-fried with soy sauce (delicious and tender). The sesame chicken 🐥 is generously portioned and delicious. The vermicelli and shrimp casserole 🦐 would be even more flavorful if it had a stronger wok aroma.

Finally, of course, the "Hei Fai Dai Pai Dong" is the heart and soul of the entire meal! 🍹 Cheers!
