A high-quality yet affordable Chinese dim sum restaurant in Elements, Kowloon Station
Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station is located in the heart of Hong Kong, bustling with activity and surrounded by high-end residential buildings. The restaurants in Elements Mall tend to be high-end and expensive. I was surprised to find this reasonably priced Chinese restaurant for dinner after a movie tonight. It was almost 80% full, with many people ordering dim sum and Chinese dishes. The average cost per person was around HK$150, making it a great value in Elements. The kids were very satisfied with the set menu tonight and will definitely try the dim sum next time.
Beef Tenderloin with Honey Pepper and Potato
The beef tenderloin was incredibly well presented. The meat was tender and juicy, and the sweet black pepper and honey sauce complemented the crispy pan-fried potatoes, creating a crispy exterior and tender interior. The potatoes were tender and smooth, while the beef tenderloin was pan-fried until golden brown. The sweet honey pepper added a touch of flavor to the dish. Delicious! The addition of onions, red bell peppers, and green bell peppers made the dish even more colorful.
Bitter Melon and Chicken Balls in Casserole Tender, slicing chicken balls paired with summer-cooling bitter melon are always a favorite among Hong Kongers. Both are seasoned with a simple sauce that's not too bitter, yet refreshing and flavorful, making this a delicious side dish featuring a sweet and bitter blend.
Black Pepper, Eggplant, and Fish Belly Pot
Today's standout dish was the surprise: five large, tender pieces of fish belly, generously prepared with plenty of ingredients. The soft, flavorful eggplant complemented the fragrant black pepper sauce. The eggplant absorbed the flavor of the sauce, creating a perfect complement to the fish belly. The black pepper sauce was incredibly rich and went down quickly with rice. Highly recommended.
Two bowls of white rice and the soup of the day (serves 2). Clear yet rich, this traditional Chinese soup is clearly a result of extensive cooking. Don't miss it!
