Ocean Spectrum Cruise Days

Every meal on the Gulangyu Cruise is a delightful experience!
There are three complimentary restaurants on board: Oriental Restaurant, Peninsula Restaurant, and Lido Buffet.
When you first board the ship, I recommend starting with a "proper meal" 🍽️ at either the Peninsula or Oriental Restaurant, and then heading up to the Lido on the 12th floor for a look. On the first day, the Lido is usually the most crowded—when we went, it was packed like a "can of sardines" 😂.
The Lido, located on the 12th floor, is the restaurant with the longest operating hours. I absolutely loved their noodles 🍜, which had a different flavor every day. My friends and I would have a bowl of noodles there daily before heading down to the Peninsula Restaurant for a proper meal. If you manage to get a window seat, you can enjoy your meal while admiring the ocean view 🌊—it’s an instant mood booster!
As for the Oriental Restaurant, it’s located at the aft of the ship 🚢, but I didn’t like it much because it was too wobbly 😵. We only went there once and didn’t return.
The Peninsula Restaurant, on the other hand, became a daily stop for us. If you’re unsure about what to order, they’ll even hand you a menu 📖. The ambiance is also perfect for taking beautiful photos 📸. Each meal typically includes two cold dishes, three hot dishes, along with soup, dessert, and fruit—it’s truly a feast!
In summary, each of the three restaurants on the Gulangyu Cruise has its own charm. If you’re looking to take Instagram-worthy photos 📷, go to the Peninsula. If you want a relaxed and leisurely meal, head to the Lido. As for the Oriental, it’s all about personal preference 😉. I hope everyone has a wonderful time dining and enjoying themselves on board! 🌟🛳️💖
