Hong Kong's perfect summer escape 🫧 Chill out at an art gallery and enjoy exhibitions stress-free!

Hong Kong's summer is scorching hot🔥 and often rainy☔️, so having a Plan B is a must when traveling here. Outdoor activities can be humid and stuffy, with a risk of heatstroke🧊.

Recently, I discovered a stunning and cool spot for photos—📍Hong Kong Arts Centre in Wan Chai. It's super convenient, just a one-minute walk from Exit A of Wan Chai Station! (2 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong)

🏠 A uniquely designed standalone building
The atrium features a breathtaking triangular staircase that spans multiple floors. No matter where you are, each level offers beautiful views and photo-worthy spots. With fewer crowds, it's perfect for leisurely exploring exhibitions without any pressure 🍸.

When I visited, there was a themed exhibition called "Return" on the 5th floor. It showcased graduation projects from 39 art students, including interactive installations. Many of the works were highly photogenic, fun, and artistic—a must-see! 👀

🤫 Hidden gem: On the 4th floor, there's Shiro Bakery, known for its homemade low-oil, low-sugar bread 🥯. On the ground floor (G level), you'll find a cute coffee shop and a souvenir store—perfect for grabbing a bite after exploring.

Throughout the visit, surprises kept coming🎐, including a floor-to-ceiling glass relaxation area with sea views🏙️. It's the ultimate chill spot for daydreaming, chatting, enjoying air conditioning, and soaking in the serene artistic atmosphere—a top choice for beating the heat!

📌 Hong Kong Arts Centre
Address: 2 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
Opening hours: 08:00-23:00 (open year-round)
🔔 The venue is well air-conditioned, so no worries about sweating!

A must-visit summer escape in Hong Kong—come and snap away! 🤍
